GED Preparation Classes General Education Development (GED) Preparation is a self-paced program designed to help you study and prepare to take the GED tests. Day or evening drop-in classroom training is available at no cost to adults in our community. Our staff will work with you on the subjects in which you need improvement. Practice tests help monitor your progress and prepare you for taking the official GED tests. Come when you can - you don't have to attend the entire time! The time needed to complete the GED varies for each student. Tuesday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Pre-GED classes if you're a little rusty, we'll work to help you improve your reading and math skills to a level necessary for the GED preparation class. ESL Classes Improve your English language skills in the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Classes are offered at NO COST. Come join our community of adult English learners in a comfortable, friendly environment. Day, evening and online classes are available. ESL Family classes, Parent-Child classes are offered for families with English as a second language who have children under 5 years old (before kindergarten). Parent s and children attend together to improve English language skills through conversation, learning activities, stories and more. There is a fee for ESL family classes. How to Register registration takes 1 to 2 1/2 hours and must be done in person at Harmony Learning Center. There is no cost to register for classes. Harmony Adult Education trains adults in the fields of Information Technology (IT), School Paraprofessionals, Health Care, and School Bus Drivers. Classes are offered at no costs to students. These career fields have a variety of entry-level jobs and opportunities for growth.

We offer a twelve-week course designed to give ESL learners a better understanding of everyday life in the U.S. and to prepare for the citizenship test. Citizenship classes run whenever at least 12 students are registered.
