Adults with Disabilities

Community Bridge Consortium provides adults with disabilities access to education, recreation, and social activities.

Consortium members:  Mahtomedi, North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale, Roseville Area, South Washington County Schools, White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Services and Recreation

We offer a variety of customized classes and activities for adults with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD). Classes are sponsored by the consortium members and held throughout the consortium area in schools and other community facilities.


Consortium T-Ball 
Join the White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Services and Recreation team to have fun and meet new people. No experience is necessary. Teams practice, play games, and participate in a tournament held in June. Practices and games are held on Thursday evenings in May and June. More information is available in the spring brochure.

HERE IT IS!  2020 T-Ball/Beginning Softball
Softball is the name of the game no matter how one hits the ball! Join one of the three Community Bridge Consortium very basic softball/t-ball teams. Develop team spirit, learn the game, improve skills and engage in a bit of competition.

Batters can hit from a batting ‘T’ or a coach-pitched ball. The season includes practices, scrimmages and concludes with a Saturday tournament, June 13. Three teams to choose from:

 

  • CBNTS1 North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Team, Coach Ron Sushak
    Robinhood Park (2039 Manton Street), Maplewood     $55
     
  • CBWTS1 White Bear Lake Area Team, Coach Amy Lewellen-Contras
    Sunrise Fields, White Bear Lake   $55
  • CBSTS1 South Washington County Team, Coaches Judy Ptacek and Alexi Hansen  
    Hemingway Field #41, Cottage Grove   $55


All Teams will meet for 5 sessions, from 6:30–8:00 pm, Thursdays, May 14–June 11  
Tournament Saturday, June 13, 9:30 am–1:00 pm, Lakewood Hills Park in White Bear Lake

Scrimmage schedule and directions to the scrimmage locations will be handed out at the first practice.

Note: In case of poor weather or bad field conditions, the tournament will be held at North High School, 2416 E 11th Ave., North St. Paul 55109. You will be notified if the tournament is moved to this location.
