Hippodrome Ice Arena
The Hippodrome Ice Arena is the indoor ice rink that is operated by the White Bear Lake Area School District, Community Services and Recreation Department.
The Hippodrome is located directly in front of Central Middle School at 4855 Bloom Ave.
The Hippodrome is not a full size ice sheet, it is roughly 2/3 size of a standard rink.
Open Skating
Open skating begins the weekend of November 4 & 5, 2023 and runs through March 3, 2024.
- Saturdays 6:45 - 8:45 pm
- Sundays 1 - 3 pm
The following non-school days we will have open skating from 2:15 - 3:45pm.

Cost: $2 Donation
We do not have rental skates available.
