Extended Day Summer Program - Community Services & Recreation

Summers at Extended Day are full of fun and exploration!

Each and every day students will spend time both indoors and outside participating in Fit Time, team building and literacy based activities. Students will also have their hands full with a wide variety of fun learning activities to choose from. Art, science, and dramatic play are just a few examples of how students will complement their daily schedule as they select from exciting, high interest activities and camps tailored to their personal interests and age.

Opens at 11:00 a.m. on March 3, 2025

All registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.
Contract changes will be accepted until March 31, 2025.

Summer 2025 Extended Day- Need to Know Information

Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. No registrations will be accepted from families that have an outstanding balance from previous years.

Registration Fee (March 3rd - March 31st) : $30/child
Registration Fee after March 31st: $40/child
*Registration Fees are charged at the time of approval and are non-refundable.

Billing Information

Summer 2025 Invoicing:

6/12/25-6/30/25 on May 30, 2025 and will be due on June 13, 2025.
7/1/25-7/31/25 on June 27, 2025 and will be due July 15, 2025.
8/1/25-8/15/25 on July 25, 2025 and will be due on August 15, 2025.

*Any accounts with a past due balance as of June 5, 2025 will not be able to start first day of Summer 2025.

**Any accounts with a past due balance as of August 20, 2025 will not be able to start first day of School Year 2025-2026.

The Summer Extended Day Program is self supported by user fees. Therefore, it is imperative that all fees are paid on time. Delinquent accounts are subject to removal from the Summer Extended Day Program.

Fees may be paid with check, cash or credit card.

Auto-pay option is available.

Site Locations & Hours

We are open Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 5:30 PM, except for June 19, 20 and July 4, 2025. Last day of program is August 15th.

Otter Lake - K-5
Vadnais - K-5

Grades listed above are determined by child's grade level for the 2024-2025 school year.

*Locations rotate each summer dependent upon Camp Summer locations, Summer Food Programs and District Construction Projects.

Registration for Summer 2025 opens March 3rd at 11:00 am

Important Pick Your Day Information:

To keep overall daily fees lower, no credits will be provided for dual enrollment in Summer learning programs.
Required to register for a minimum of 5 days in the summer.
Your Pick Your Day Rate is locked in as of March 31, 2025 based on the number of days you have registered for in the system.
All Summer Pick Your Days need to be entered by March 31, any days added after March 31 until the first day of Summer will be added based on space available.
Minimum of 5 days notice required to add days.
Any days added after March 31, 2025 , will be approved based on space available at the Drop In Rate of $68.00/day.
